Electronic Arts and BioWare have today released a demo version of the upcoming Mass Effect 3, one of the most highly anticipated videogame releases of 2012. Available to all Xbox 360 gamers via the Xbox LIVE Marketplace now, a PlayStation Network and PC release is expected later today.
The Mass Effect 3 demo begins in dramatic fashion with the spectacular opening attack on Earth, after which you’re thrust headlong into a mid-game section showcasing the groundbreaking interactive storytelling, adrenaline-pumping action, ruthless and intelligent enemies, and deep customisation that make Mass Effect 3 the spectacle we’ve all been expecting.
Once you’ve finished the single-player section players can jump into four player co-operative missions with your friends – battle the enemies of Earth in two maps from the full videogame and earn a wide variety of perks and upgrades for your characters.
Mass Effect 3 is currently expected to launch next month on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC simultaneously. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on Mass Effect 3 and other forthcoming titles from BioWare.
