Microsoft Studios has revealed a new promotion in which gamers can purchase the hugely popular Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for less than half its normal recommended retail price (RRP) for a limited time only. This promotion is only available on the Xbox 360 version of the videogame, and only at Amazon.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is the third instalment in Infinity Ward’s first-person shooter series. The much anticipated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 begins right where Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 left-off, 
with players taking control of a Russian Federal Protective Services agent, SAS Operative, tank gunner, and AC-130 gunner as well as other characters from previous videogames.
The RRP of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 currently stands at £54.99 GBP, however in this new promotion gamers can purchase the videogame from Amazon for just £26.99 until 13th April 2012. What’s more, at the time of writing Amazon were in fact offering Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for £25 on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with the PC and Wii prices even lower, though these prices are not guaranteed as part of a promotional activity.
