Electronic Theatre ImageDanish development studio Press Play, developer of the multi-award winning Max and the Magic Marker, will be at Gamescom this year showing off its sequel Max: The Curse of Brotherhood. Set to launch on Xbox One and Xbox LIVE Arcade, the unveiling marks the first time the highly anticipated sequel has been shown in Europe.

Max: The Curse of Brotherhood mixes traditional Scandinavian storytelling with an inventive and colourful 2.5D platform videogame, combining classic jump and run gameplay with puzzles. By usingElectronic Theatre Image the forces of nature, Max can create impressive pillars of earth, powerful streams of water and other elements with his magic marker. He must use them to travel through elaborate cave systems, forests and gloomy castles of Anotherland to save his brother.

Max: The Curse of Brotherhood is currently expected to be available soon after the launch of the Xbox One console, though no specific date has yet been announced. Electronic Theatre will be at Gamescom later this month and will bring you a hands-on preview of Max: The Curse of Brotherhood from the show floor.
